Information Technology Auditor Manager manages audit projects of information systems, platforms, and operating procedures following established policies and standards for efficiency, accuracy, and security. Coordinates resources and deliverables for annual and ongoing evaluations of IT infrastructure and establishes controls and audit procedures to identify areas of risk or non-compliance. Being an Information Technology Auditor Manager evaluates audit results and recommend improvements in current risk management controls, system implementation, and upgrade processes. Develops staff capabilities and competencies with training and coaching that reflect IT auditing best practices. Additionally, Information Technology Auditor Manager communicates overall regulatory, compliance, or operational readiness assessment results and follow-up action items to stakeholders. Coordinates external audit projects and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Technology Auditor Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Technology Auditor Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Associate Director of Information Technology is an administrative-level position reporting to the Director of Business & Finance. The Associate Director of Information Technology provides overall leadership, planning, and management of all areas of information technology.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    ● TECHNOLOGY STRATEGY: Working with the school’s academic and administrative leadership, develop and implement a multi-year technology plan aligned with the school’s goals and objectives. Identify technology needs and propose solutions to enhance educational programs and administrative functions.

    ● NETWORK AND INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT: Manage the school’s core technology infrastructure. Ensure the network is secure, reliable, and scalable to support the needs of students, faculty, and staff.

    ● HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE MANAGEMENT: Oversee the procurement, installation, maintenance, and replacement of hardware and software systems deployed to end-users, individual departments, and the entire school community.

    ● DATA MANAGEMENT AND SECURITY: Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures, including data backup and disaster recovery plans. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, and protect sensitive student and staff information from unauthorized access or breaches.

    ● TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND TROUBLESHOOTING: Serve as the main point of contact for help desk services to students, faculty, and staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Ensure that needs and requests are addressed promptly and professionally.

    ● USER TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and deliver technology training programs for faculty and staff. Stay updated with emerging educational technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption.

    ● IT BUDGET MANAGEMENT: In coordination with the Director of Business & Finance, develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.

    ● VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Coordinate with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure the delivery of high-quality services within budgetary constraints.

    ● COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION: Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Communicate effectively about technology initiatives, upgrades, and outages to the school community.

    ● POLICY DEVELOPMENT: Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and guidelines. Educate the school community about these policies and evaluate them regularly.

    ● STAY INFORMED AND INNOVATE: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology. Research and evaluate new hardware, software, and systems that could enhance the learning experience and improve the school’s operational efficiency.

    ● GENERAL ADMINISTRATION: Coordinate with facilities in terms of A/V support and services for events, and oversee the work of vendors and managed services providers.

    Skills and Experience:

    ● Significant Information Technology (IT) leadership experience and proven success in managing information technology resources and services, preferably in an educational environment.

    ● Ability to articulate a vision for information technology in an educational environment and to develop strategic and operational IT plans to achieve that vision in collaboration with key users and the academic and administrative leadership.

    ● Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, printing, and related technologies.

    ● Prior experience supporting IT operations, including security, networking, backup, disaster and recovery planning, risk management, or hardware deployment

    ● Proficiency with sound and projection systems, and experience providing A/V support for events.

    ● Experience with educational administrative systems such as Blackbaud, Office, and Google Apps, Cisco Hardware, Meraki Hardware, VOIP Phone Systems, and printers..

    ● Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with end users as the result of effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    ● High commitment to quality services and enjoys working in a fast paced, high-standards organization.

    ● Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    ● Ability to thrive as an integral member of a team while being able to work autonomously on long and short-term initiatives.

    Education:

    ● Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in IT, education or related field

    ● IT management experience strongly preferred.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
