Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our dynamic commercial printing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printing, B2B corporate retail, and warehouse management, with a proven track record of success. This individual will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing our operational processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the personnel, printing, and warehouse, while ensuring seamless customer service and adherence to quality standards.
- Warehouse Management: Manage inventory, storage, and distribution processes, optimizing efficiency while minimizing costs.
- B2B Corporate Retail Focus: Develop and maintain strong relationships with B2B corporate retail clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- ERP Software Utilization: Utilize ERP software for effective planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production demands.
- Printing Expertise: Utilize prior experiences to enhance production processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Customer and Vendor Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring open communication and alignment with business objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plan, aligning operational goals with overall business objectives.
- On-site Presence: Commit to being on-site at least 5 days a week to oversee operations, address issues promptly, and collaborate with the team.
Qualifications - MUST HAVE'S:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in management at director level or above
- Proven record of policy and process improvement
- Familiarity with ERP software for effective operations planning
- Exceptional emotional intelligence and leadership skills suitable for a director-level position
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors with an eye toward efficiency and cost improvements
- Self-starter and Strategic thinker with a track record of successful operational management
Qualifications - NICE TO HAVE'S:
- At least three years of experience in the printing industry
- Previous experience with Acumatica
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
