Job Summary: The Manager of College Information Technology assists with oversight of all IT functions handled at the college level. Represents college's needs and interests with central Office of Information Technology (OIT). Partners with OIT on projects and issues as needed and adhere to OIT policies, procedures, and guidance. May manage some resources of assigned areas to accomplish goals and objectives. May supervise IT and other staff, as well as provide guidance and direction to other college staff.
Additional Department Summary: Responsible for maintenance, operations and personnel, and management of network attached computing and Audio Visual devices. Management of Help Desk, Classroom, and Lab operations and associated projects - and assisting in those operations as required. Senior staff advisor to the Director of Technology and acts on his behalf as requested.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of IT experience; OR master's degree and two (2) years of IT experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with programming and development of applications. Appropriate certifications from Microsoft, Dell, Apple, A , Crestron, Q-SYS / QSC, AVIXA, etc.
