INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST performs overall information systems planning, implementation and administrative procedures in a variety of IT functional areas. Provides operational infrastructure support, maintenance, troubleshooting to ensures optimum utilization of IT resources. Being an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST may be involved in hardware/software/vendor selection, security, training, coordination and scheduling of IT initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST typically reports to a supervisor. The INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Duties DescriptionUnder the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 3, SG-23, within the Chief Technology Office, Shared Platform Services, Shared Services Section, the Information Technology Specialist 2, SG-18, will create, test, deploy, troubleshoot and enhance O365 power platform applications/solutions at the direction of management using tools in Microsoft 0365 Power Platform such as Power Apps, Power Automate, MS Forms, SharePoint and Teams and any other Microsoft 0365 tools as needed.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Process O365 development requests
- Develop O365 Power Platform Applications
- Assist with O365 SharePoint and Power Platform Questions
- Assist with troubleshooting for O365 as needed
- Develop with Intranets using SharePoint
- Perform customer service duties related to application development
