INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY GENERALIST jobs in Spartanburg, SC

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring and managing end user support via helpdesk ticketing system.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving hardware and software related issues such as laptops, barcode scanners and printers.
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems and SQL based application databases.
• Set up equipment for employee use, installing software such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office, VPN software, End Point Protection, and other business-related applications.
• Maintain record of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities.
• User account creation provisioning and deprovisioning in Active Directory.
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, and conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems and to provide technical assistance and support.
• Develop training materials and work instructions procedures, and/or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
• Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or other Motus team members for assistance.
