Information Technology Manager manages all IT activities in the organization. Implements and maintains the policies and goals for the IT department to support the company's needs. Being an Information Technology Manager ensures proper information system operations and plans necessary upgrades. Oversees the internal IT support function.     Help improve the lives of North Dakota citizens by learning and administrating cloud-based servers and applications. North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a Cloud Administrator Apprentice. As our Cloud Administrator Apprentice, you will learn to design, install, administer, and support cloud services in Azure. You will help ensure the availability of applications, manage and maintain current implementations as well as deploying new solutions.

    To succeed in this position, you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in order to meet organization standards. You should be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships while working independently and within a team. You have an aptitude for problem solving and an eye for detail with a desire for learning.

    To be considered for this role, you must:
    Currently be enrolled in, or have acceptance to, the Cybersecurity and Computer Networks Associate degree program through Bismarck State College or the Computer Information Technology degree program through United Tribes Technical College.
    Submit acceptance with your application. If you are a current student, you must submit transcripts dated within the last 60 days that show GPA and classes taken.
    Applications submitted without the required documentation noted above will not be considered.
    Live in the Bismarck/Mandan area, or within a reasonable driving distance.

    About the Apprenticeship program:
    Apprentices must complete 20-40 hours a week of on-the-job training with NDIT while enrolled in an education program.
    Tuition and fees for up to two years of coursework are covered by NDIT as long as the apprentice maintains a grade of C or higher in all classes and meets all academic requirements of the learning institution.
    In return, the Apprentice will execute a two-year sign on agreement with NDIT, to commence after the apprenticeship is completed. Should the apprentice terminate employment with NDIT before the two-year period ends, the Apprentice agrees to reimburse NDIT for the amount paid to the learning institution.
    Telework is available, with in person expectations as needed
