The Information Technology Services Division is excited to announce an opening for a Project Manager 1 to join the Project Services team. This position will serve as a key member of the growing team responsible for supporting a wide array of information technology projects throughout the Department of Health and Welfare. The team works closely with staff and contractors, both within the ITSD division and across the agency, to encourage and facilitate the adoption of industry-standard project management practices to maximize project effectiveness.
As a Project Manager 1 within the Project Services team, you will operate within the full realm of the project life cycle. This includes, but is not limited to, requirements gathering from stakeholders, creating a project charter and plan, defining scope and schedule, identifying roles and contractor needs, building a team, providing support to quality assurance functions, coordinating training and implementation, all while maintaining all the dynamic communication necessary to keep a project moving forward on schedule. This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager 1 who enjoys working within the full array of project-related duties. Must be located in Idaho or willing to relocate to the State of Idaho with no reimbursement.
