Information Technology Manager manages all IT activities in the organization. Implements and maintains the policies and goals for the IT department to support the company's needs. Being an Information Technology Manager ensures proper information system operations and plans necessary upgrades. Oversees the internal IT support function. Additionally, Information Technology Manager conducts research and recommends the selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Technology Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Technology Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • Experienced broadband technical support needed for local cable, internet, and phone company. Must meet customer needs and expectations while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide troubleshooting of residential and business internet and phone services.
    • Configure and verify settings of users equipment.
    • Accurately document all interactions with customers through internal ticket system.
    • Maintain and monitor both internal and external servers/equipment.
    • Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
    • Lift over 40 lbs.
    • Safely climb ladders and adhere to safety policies.
    • On call rotation-Must provide after hours support in emergency situations.
    • Regular consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work evenings and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of associate's degree in an IT related field or equivalent experience.
    • Excellent phone and computer skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic working knowledge of local area networks, switches, and other network related software/equipment.
    • Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously and maintain composure in stressful situations.
    • Valid driver's license necessary.
