    JOB SUMMARY

    Client team works on building and improving a range of financial products designed to meet our customers diverse financial health needs. These products include:

    • A mobile banking application
    • A pre-paid card
    • A seasonal loan product
    • A free tax advance
    • A pay-by-refund option for tax preparation fees

    What you ll do

    In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Product and Program Managers as they deliver an outstanding experience for consumers using our Financial Products for their everyday financial needs.

    As a Project Manager on the Financial Products team, you will be accountable for:

    • Assist in the development of an End to End test program designed for validating how our financial products perform in our tax systems.
    • Work closely with several Product Managers, engineers, and design associates supporting our five financial products.
    • Create a service blueprint documenting the systems involved when customers interact with our financial products in our tax systems.
    • Interviewing system owners to develop a data flow diagram indicating how data flows and what expected values should occur in downstream systems.
    • Create a series of common client scenarios for our products with expected outcomes documented as they interact with our products. Compile this information into user stories to assist QA engineers in validation.
    • Develop a project plan for annual implementation that can be used each year to validate performance. The project plan should include required QA resourcing, data needed for QA scenarios, expected outcomes, and a timeline targeting completion for release by January.
    • Assist with all tasks necessary to successful product integration with tax systems. Execute any other product tasks as assigned.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assist the Go to Market & Engagement team by developing a repeatable End to End validation program for the Financial Products as they interact with tax systems. Engage closely with cross-functional teams of field leaders, product managers, engineers and designers to develop an understanding for operational performance and downstream impacts. Develop testing artifacts, process documentation. and use cases for the testing including expected outcomes and downstream data flows. Complete other product related tasks as assigned.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Attention to detail and high standards in documentation of use cases.
    • High-energy, can do style that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to move work forwards independently.
    • Effective written and oral presentation and facilitation skills, for audiences with disparate expertise.
    • Basic understanding of product development and agile processes.
    • Tax or financial background and product management background is nonessential; excitement to learn is essential.

    EDUCATION: Bachelor s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.

    WORK EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum of 1 year related experience. Work experience, internships and practical projects will be considered.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and product planning tools.

    Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated effectiveness in presenting complex information to multiple organizational levels, with strong facilitation and presentation skills.

    Introduction to formal product management methodologies.
