    Location: Victor, NY // Hybrid Position
    REDCOM Laboratories, Inc., a U.S. company that specializes in the development of advanced strategic, operational, and tactical communication solutions, is looking for an I.T. Manager to join our team. REDCOM is looking for an experienced hands-on manager responsible for all information technology activities including site-related networking, database, hardware support, software support, and leading enterprise-wide software implementations for both in-office and remote employees. Work closely with engineering development teams to support new product development (software and hardware). Business continuity of e mail, phone system, servers, VPN, ERP, CRM, etc. is also a critical aspect of the role.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    • Manage IT staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, developing, mentoring, coaching, and guidance.
    • Plan, organize, schedule, and supervise the day-to-day technical support activities, including troubleshooting, meeting SLAs, root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement.
    • Responsibility for all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service.
    • Oversee Cyber Security program and initiatives, including compliance with NIST and CMMC requirements.
    • Oversee the onboarding of all new employees to ensure hardware, software, and access is in place and appropriate training provided.
    • Direct planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, data collection, data analytics and business performance.
    • Drive IT strategy to simplify current infrastructure and create a more agile platform to support and enable the success of business initiatives as well as planned growth.
    • Work with the organization and leadership to develop strategies and plans to enhance services, improve user effectiveness, and increase optimization of critical business systems.
    • Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities, including vendors, and partner organizations to implement and execute the plan of systems that drive value to the organization.
    • Oversee the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all REDCOM systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, card access, security systems and peripherals.
    • Provide guidance and support during systems upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.
    • Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and reporting.
    • Preparation and administration of IT budgets and forecasts.
    • Other projects as requested
    Required Qualifications
    • 7 Years of relevant technical experience, working with internal and external customers
    • 3 Years of direct supervisory experience in an IT environment
    • Excellent relationship management and collaboration skills, with a track record of working as one team cross-organizationally to drive innovation and business results
    • Broad understanding of the current technology landscape within the marketplace, including infrastructure, security, cloud, and application development that manifests as an ability to rapidly identify technologies with the highest probability of meeting business needs
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to a variety of audiences
    • Windows and Linux server administration
    • Network Administration
    • Office 365 Administration (Exchange, Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive)
    • Knowledge and understanding of ITAR/EAR, NIST and CMMC cybersecurity regulations
    • Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management.
    • Demonstrated ability to apply a customer focus, problem solve, and drive continuous improvement to solutions, systems, and processes
    Preferred Skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field
    • ERP and CRM System administration, particularly Epicor and Salesforce
    • Experience interfacing modern networks and servers with legacy manufacturing equipment e.g. < Windows 2000 Operating Systems, Vax Systems, Serial interfaces
    • Solaris/Unix multi-user environment administration
    • SAN Technologies
    OTHER DUTIES:
    • Complete special projects and perform other duties as necessary.
    SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
    • No special working conditions – work in office environment
    • Travel on an exception basis only
    • May require extended work hours to meet project or customer requirements.
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must be able to work at a computer/computer workstation for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Additionally must possess mobility to crawl under and behind desks and obstacles with the set up of equipment.
    • The ability to grasp with manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, wire a cable end and ability to read and comprehend technical manuals and information.

    The wage range for this role considers the range of qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; education and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.     Hiring salary range $110,000 - $130,000 commensurate with experience
