A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENABLING TECHNOLOGY MANAGER:
As an Enabling Technology Manager, your primary purpose of this position is to provide innovative assistive and enabling technology options to support adults where they live, work, and play. This position assists with guiding, training, and developing options through a collaborative person-centered approach. This position initiates and follows through with monitoring technologies used within programs (Simply Home, Ring, etc.) to ensure devices/systems are operational and effectively functioning. Responds to all services calls to include both telephone service and in person service call. Uses technology options when in person assistance is not feasible (health and safety related) and perform preventative maintenance and updated to systems utilized on a regular basis. Responsible for implementing and managing the technology loaner program to ensure equipment is utilized appropriately and returned promptly and assist with installations and setup of other technologies used for supported people. Provide staff training to ensure there is staff competence, confidence, and comfort with utilizing devices/equipment. Supervises Night Monitoring staff. Completes performance reviews, OTJ, and monitors employee performance to ensure there is professional growth and development. All other duties as assigned.
