  • Position Summary

    In the role of IT Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our IT team, delivering unparalleled support to our users and aiding in the infrastructural growth of our IT department. This position is ideally suited for individuals who excel in a dynamic, team-based environment and are passionate about using technology to address challenges and bolster operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deploying, configuring, and providing user training on iOS devices.
    • Building, configuring, tracking, patching, and troubleshooting SQL Servers, Exchange Servers, RDP Servers, and client PCs.
    • Troubleshooting, monitoring, and deploying network equipment, such as routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
    • Assisting the IT Help Desk with tickets focusing on responsive, customer-centric service, adhering to our IT department’s established framework.
    • Accurately managing the inventory of devices, licenses, services, and system information.
    • Setting up job site field offices with essential technology, including printers, networking equipment, and interactive video conferencing tools.
    • Conducting system upgrades and testing within the IT framework to ensure system compatibility and stability.
    • Assisting in the administration of Active Directory and supporting drone flights and data capture initiatives.
    • Learning, training, and deploying AI systems to enhance operational capabilities.
    • Supporting users by resolving hardware and software issues and developing and providing training on applications, IT processes, and systems.
    • Documenting software processes and procedures with precision.
    • Supporting IT project execution in collaboration with IT Project Managers and Administrators.
    • Ensuring exceptional teamwork and communication with both end users and the IT team.
    • Setting up, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting camera and access control systems.
    • Note: This role is primarily on-site and requires some travel to other offices and job sites.

    Skill Requirements

    • Exceptional teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards leveraging team member skills in customer service execution.
    • Detail-oriented with a high technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
    • Knowledge of RDP, Hyper-V, routers, switches, and network wiring.
    • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel, with on-call availability outside normal business hours.
    • Proficiency in creating and updating technical documentation.
    • Deep technical troubleshooting skills across network and system issues.
    • An understanding of TCP/IP, wireless systems, routers, switches, and firewalls.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills from start to finish.
    • A clean driving record with the ability to operate company vehicles.

    Required Experiences

    • An Associate's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Proficiency in Apple iOS, Microsoft RDP, Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, and Windows Server 2016 or newer.
    • Familiarity with Active Directory/Azure AD, Microsoft Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
