This position is responsible for developing, planning and implementing an information technology (IT) strategy that meets the company's business needs, delivers optimal return on investment, and maintains utmost security. The Director of Information Technology is responsible for directing all functions of the IT department.

This position will be required to work in the New Wilmington, PA office one week a month. The remaining time has remote flexibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provides technological guidance throughout the organization.
• Oversees the information system and communication network.
• Consult with administration, to exchange information, present new approaches, and discuss equipment/system changes.
• Participates in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchases for the company.
• Creates a cost-benefit analysis as well as supporting a detailed definition of data requirements and departmental workflows for IT-related projects.
• Oversees internet and computer operations for the organization.
• Manages the day-to-day operations of the information technology department including directing staff and IT-managed service providers, who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications, and other information technology functions.
• Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
• Establishes and directs the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the information technology department.
• Proposes hardware, and software solutions to accomplish business objectives.
• Identifies user needs and resolves problems.
• Performs the duties of a HIPAA Security Officer to ensure the protection of the organization's electronic protected health information.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or related field
• Industry certifications preferred
• Strong technical background with experience in information technology management
• Prior supervisory experience with team building and staff development
• Understanding of communication and business systems management
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Paycom, Salesforce, Great Plains, and MyEvolv preferred
