Information Technology Supervisor supervises employees of the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensures proper functioning of the organization's information systems and makes upgrades as necessary. Being an Information Technology Supervisor helps business operations groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency. Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs. Additionally, Information Technology Supervisor follows appropriate programming procedures. Responds to complex, escalated matters and ensures projects are conducted effectively and recommendations and reports are accurate and timely. A level II supervisor has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of group. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Information Technology Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision.     The Information Technology (IT) Senior Business Partner will be an engaged member of the Electronic Combat Solutions Business Area (BA) leadership team, developing and overseeing IT strategic plans, projects, budgets, and service delivery support to achieve integrated business plans of BAE Systems’ Electronic Systems (ES) sector. By building and maintaining strong relationships and partnerships across stakeholder organizations, the Sr. IT Business Partner delivers timely solutions and efficient services to meet explicit and implicit needs of the business. Qualified candidates should have strong and balanced competencies in business acumen, service delivery, technology advancement, collaboration, communications, and team leadership.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills
    Required Skills and Education
    • Business acumen and working level experience in support of business operations
    • Extensive knowledge of IT industry standard service delivery, operations, processes, standards, tools, and capabilities with a focus on infrastructure and project management.
    • Track record of developing and implementing IT system and process changes to improve business performance
    • Demonstrated record of managing internal and external (supplier) stakeholders to deliver technology solutions
    • Understanding of project management, business finance, and budgeting process fundamentals
    • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills—able to communicate technology solutions to non-technical stakeholders by focusing on business outcomes and value
    • Strong leadership competencies and operates with executive presence
    • Self-directed, proactive, detail oriented, and an ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work across multiple functions / organizations and build trusted working relationships
    • Ability to learn and follow processes while also identifying opportunities for process improvement
    • Ability to handle conflict and resolve difficult situations
    • Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and integration; both classified and unclassified

    • Background and knowledge of working in closed or classified environments
    • Demonstrated record of capturing and developing business requirements in order to support the development of technical solutions
    • Program/Project Management and oversight
    • Ability to carry out data analytics in order to identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovation
    • Industry Specific standard certifications; i.e. Security and ITIL Foundations.
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred


    Pay Information
    Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
