Information Technology Supervisor supervises employees of the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensures proper functioning of the organization's information systems and makes upgrades as necessary. Responsibilities: Entry-level position to assist with managing the development and implementation of information systems. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting with clerical tasks related to medical database software; acting as agency liaison with electronic health records; obtaining quotes and placing orders for hardware and software; maintaining and performing staff changes to IT inventory database; performing hands-on tasks regarding the agency’s informational network, equipment, supplies and software packages at program sites as directed including but not limited to configuring, installing, updating, relocating computers and other computer related equipment; configuring mobile devices and training staff on best practices for maintaining HIPAA compliance when using said devices; attending and participating in MHA or state-sponsored In-Service Training Programs as directed; and ensuring timely and proper documentation as directed.
Requirements: Some college in a computer-related field preferred. Experience working with servers, software and hardware equipment desired (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 2012 Server, Windows 10). Printer maintenance, software and system diagnosis, and Web Maintenance required. Experience with Fund EZ, Ultimate Software, ADP and Electronic Health Records preferred. Experience working with a diverse population preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license and willingness to use own car for agency purposes required.
