Information Technology Supervisor supervises employees of the information technology department in accordance with organizational policies and goals. Ensures proper functioning of the organization's information systems and makes upgrades as necessary. Being an Information Technology Supervisor helps business operations groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency. Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated to meet organizational needs. Additionally, Information Technology Supervisor follows appropriate programming procedures. Responds to complex, escalated matters and ensures projects are conducted effectively and recommendations and reports are accurate and timely. A level II supervisor has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of group. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Information Technology Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. This dynamic positionrequires you to create and manage a communication platform developcomprehensive work plans and ensure the successful implementationof the Newcomer Program.
KeyResponsibilities :
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration : Actas a bridge between government agencies NGOs community leaders andinternational organizations involved in supporting newcomers andmigrants to Rhode Island.
Facilitate effective communication andcollaboration to ensure a unified and coordinated approach toaddressing the needs of the population.
Communication Platform Management : Establish andoversee a robust communication platform that serves as a centralhub for information exchange and collaboration among stakeholders.
Ensure the platform is accessible and relevant to all partiesinvolved in providing assistance to newcomers.
Work Plan Development : Collaborate with projectstakeholders to develop detailed work plans outlining objectivestimelines and responsibilities for each entity engaged in theNewcomer Program.
Provide guidance to align activities with theestablished plan.
ProjectImplementation : Take the lead in overseeing and ensuringthe successful execution of the Newcomer Program. Monitor progressidentify challenges and work closely with stakeholders to achieveprogram goals and objectives.
DataCollection and Analysis : Collect analyze and interpretrelevant data to inform decisionmaking and enhance the overalleffectiveness of the Newcomer Program.
Community Mapping : Developcommunity mapping initiatives to identify resources strengths andpotential gaps within the communities served by the program.
Utilize mapping data to tailor assistance and support to specificcommunity needs.
Service ProviderAlignment : Work collaboratively with service providers toalign their offerings with the identified needs of newcomers.
Foster partnerships that enhance the overall implementation of theproject.
