Information Technology Supervisor jobs in Tucson, AZ

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to join our team. As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology infrastructure and operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying the IT needs of the organization, adding updates and enhancements to the current computer systems, ensuring network safety, and ensuring technical difficulties are resolved in an efficient, timely manner.

Responsibilities:
-Oversees the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including the management of an experienced IT Specialist.

-Implements and maintains data systems, including switches, servers, desktops, laptops, printers, network copiers, and mobile devices, including updating firmware, OS, and applications needed.

-Acts as the Chief Information Security Officer for the organization.

-Works closely with the Vice President on issues of Industry Regulatory Oversight (including Data Privacy, HIPAA, GDPR, and Data Controls).

-Assists in providing necessary data privacy information to prospective clients and vendors during the Request For Information (RFI) process.

-Responsible for creating the IT infrastructure budget development and oversight across the organization.

-Collaborates with IT consultants on special projects.

-Ensures a timely response to help ticket requests that include hardware issues, application support, and general technological issues.

-Responsible for assisting the Vice President and the HR Department in the development of Standard Operating Procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least two (2) years of direct management experience.

At least seven (7) or more years of hands-on experience in the information technology field with progressive leadership responsibility.

Proficient with Microsoft 365, Barracuda Mail Security, VMware Virtualization, Veeam backup & replication, Fortinet, Microsoft Windows server and workstation, Linux & TrueNAS, and Unifi.

Familiar with current privacy and compliance requirements related to consumer/personal data (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).

Able to handle ambiguity and favorably navigate through stressful situations and pressing deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

College degree/IT Certification(s).

Experience in the medical industry.

Experience in the hospitality industry.
