Injection Molding Machine Operator sets up and operates injection molding machinery to shape plastics. Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery. Being an Injection Molding Machine Operator adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Additionally, Injection Molding Machine Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Injection Molding Machine Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. We have recently purchased a new Eurotech three meter turning center. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating CNC machines and producing high-quality precision parts.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC 4-axis lathes, knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with engineering/programmer to create reliable processes and optimize machining operations
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines,
- Experience with tooling selection and setup for machining operations
- Ability to fabricate parts using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and calipers
- Knowledge of programming languages for CNC machines
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot machine issues
- Familiarity with SolidWorks for interpreting technical drawings
- Understanding of GD&T principles
