Job Summary

• The Machine Operator is responsible for the process of packaging the customer's product and ensuring that the packaging is of the highest integrity. 
• The Machine Operator ensures that all systems are clean, neat and orderly. 
• The Machine Operator is responsible for knowing the functions and operations of the packaging line and ensuring that all systems are clean and operating correctly.

Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Operate packaging equipment in a safe manner at all times.
2. Follow all work instructions.
3. Accurately complete and forward all paperwork in a timely manner.
4. Monitoring packaging and controlling the process per work instructions.
5. Verifying that all packaging supplies are in good condition before using and reporting any non-conformance on a NCR form.
6. Maintain housekeeping of Packaging Line and associated areas.
7. Assist in all operations of the packaging lines as required
8. Report findings of contaminates to management.
9. Take product samples as required .
10. Communicate all problems and issues to management.

11 . Follow all safety procedures and all Quantix workplace policies.

Safety

4. Responsible for reporting any incidents or injuries to management immediately.
5. Responsible for reporting any known safety issues to management immediately. 

Qualifications

•  Must pass drug test
•  Lift up to 25 kilograms (55.1 pounds) for 15 minutes.
• Lift and move pallets weighing up to 34 kilograms (75 pounds)
