Bilingual Welding Instructor (English and Spanish)
WeldBotics Training Academy, LLC is seeking a bilingual welding instructor who can teach welding courses in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) and GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) processes, as well as extensive experience in the welding industry and a strong background in welding instruction.
Responsibilities:
Teach welding course curricula, lesson plans, and performance-based objectives.
Provide hands-on instruction and demonstrations on GTAW and GMAW welding techniques.
Assess student progress and proficiency in GTAW and GMAW welding and provide feedback.
Ensure a safe learning environment and adherence to welding safety protocols.
Stay up to date on the latest welding industry trends and technologies.
Maintain welding equipment and supplies and follow procurement policies.
Confer with instructional teams, counselors, and job developers.
Provide career guidance and advice to students.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of verified occupational experience in welding, including expertise in GTAW and GMAW processes or Welding Experience in GTAW and GMAW for 5 years.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
Knowledge of instructional theory, basic education principles, competency-based curricula, and general classroom and lab practices
Strong organizational skills and record-keeping abilities
The ability to effectively teach welding concepts, especially GTAW and GMAW, in both English and Spanish is critical for this role, as it allows the instructor to reach a diverse student population and ensure all learners can fully participate and succeed in the program.
Skills:
- Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate welding equipment effectively
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Detail-oriented with excellent attention to accuracy and quality

Education and Experience:
