Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Training Director to lead and manage our organization's training and development initiatives. The Training Director will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of our team members across all levels and departments. The ideal candidate will have a background in leadership, training, and/or teaching, as well as exceptional communication skills.
Leaders at Chick-Fil-A on Barry Road are expected to be active leaders. As a popular lunch and dinner option, we require all leadership to participate in operations during lunch and dinner hours, and as needed during off-peak hours. Working holidays, nights, and weekends are required.
Responsibilities:
1. Training Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborate with department heads and HR to identify training needs and design targeted training programs to address skill gaps.
2. Training Program Development and Delivery: Oversee the entire training lifecycle, from needs analysis and content development to delivery and evaluations. Incorporate a variety of training methodologies to cater to different learning styles.
3. Training Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate the success and impact of training programs through assessments, surveys, feedback, and post-training evaluations. Gather and analyze data to identify training effectiveness, areas for improvement, and emerging trends. Collaborate with Executive Leadership to identify opportunities for enhancing training content, methodologies, and delivery platforms.
4. Team Leadership and Management: Recruit internally, train, motivate, and supervise a team of trainers and training leaders. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to the training team. Foster a positive and collaborative working environment that promotes learning, growth, and innovation.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a trainer or teacher
-Experience designing and delivering blended training programs, including e-learning and on-the-job training.
