Inside Sales Manager oversees the activities of sales representatives with an assigned territory or portfolio of existing customers that primarily conduct remote sales calls. Coordinates closely with marketing and field sales to gather insights and understand customers' unique needs, market conditions, and competitors. Being an Inside Sales Manager develops sales strategies and supporting activities, including renewals, special offers, and discounts. Provides appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Inside Sales Manager trains and coaches staff in selling and relationship-building skills needed to grow and maintain sales pipelines. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Inside Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inside Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary: We are currently seeking a sharp and ambitious team member to run our inside sales department and take our multi-million dollar regional sales business to the next level. You will oversee and work with our team of Account Executives on our award-winning magazine and digital brands that reach a combined 140,000 businesses in the U.S. each month. These brands are market leaders, and we intend to keep it that way by continuing to grow our sales with your help.

    Essential Job Function:

    • Develop an understanding of the aspirations and competitive advantages of FenderBender and Ratchet Wrench’s superior products and advertising programs
    • Effectively supervise the regional sales division of the company to produce a well run, organized team to achieve the revenue goals of the department
    • Develop new clients
    • Identify, develop and close sales opportunities
    • Develop new advertising programs to drive sales

    • Has 3 years of experience in a related field preferred (not required)
    • Has supervisory/management experience preferred (not required)

    In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the OTE for this position is $60,000-70,000/yr. This OTE is made up of a target base compensation of $40,000-50,000 and annual commission potential of $20,000.
