Inside Sales Representative jobs in Medford, OR
Inside Sales Representative is responsible for an assigned territory or portfolio of customers to target for remote sales development calls. Coordinates with field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities. Being an Inside Sales Representative reaches out to customers to promote new and existing products and services, offer special discounts and promotions, or provide essential account management services. Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Inside Sales Representative develops connections with customers and may conduct field visits. May participate in sales efforts as part of a larger team. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Inside Sales Representative work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Responsibilities
- Achieve sales goals by identifying sales opportunities inside the book of business.
- Perform policy reviews with current customers.
- Contact current customers, past customers, and prospective customers.
- Address and solve underwriting and inspection issues.
- Assist with filing and handling claims.
- Provide service to current customers.
- Manage pipeline through company-provided systems.
- Demonstrate competency and knowledge of new products & rules for our industry.
Requirements
- Must hold a current property & casualty license or be willing to obtain license prior to start date
- Experience in sales, particularly in insurance, is advantageous but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Committed to customer focused interactions
- Have a positive mindset
