American Metals Fresno is looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in customer service, and experience in sales. Entry-level positions will start at $56,000 a year depending on qualifications, with commission and full time benefits available. General Job Summary: To achieve customer satisfaction and repeat business by preparing sales quotes for customer's acceptance that are profitable and competitive. Ensuring the fulfillment of orders, maintaining good customer relations, providing ongoing customer service, and maintenance of established accounts.
Job Scope: Job has periods of complex work, and recurring work situations with variations from the norm. Operates from established and well-known procedures. Decisions are made within prescribed operating guidelines. Receives a moderate amount of supervision, with results reviewed by the Sales Manager daily. On the job training will result in an in-depth knowledge of the STELPlan business system, and all job-related internal functions of a steel service center.

Job Conditions: Fast paced work environment, with pressure existing from regular daily deadlines, changing priorities and/or interruptions. Position requires interactions with diverse personalities and unpredictable behaviors from customers on a regular basis.
