The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving sales, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and delivering outstanding customer service. As a key member of the sales team, this individual will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve the company’s overall sales and growth objectives.
Essential Job Functions
o Maintain good customer service skills while interfacing with customers on customer pickups.
o Provides customers with quotes, pulling customer orders and assisting customers with product inquiries.
o Evaluates warranty claims and takes appropriate action to satisfy both the customer and vendor according to established policy.
o Attends training sessions and departmental meetings as requested.
o Loading and unloading of products in a safe and efficient manner using necessary tools, equipment, and skills, lift trucks, pallet jacks, etc., and may involve lifting and moving of heavy loads.
o Input in outbound transfers and receive inbound transfer orders.
o Assist the store manager as directed.
o Assist in cycle count/inventory management responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
o Stock merchandise in proper locations and stock bins ensuring accuracy of inventory.
Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications
o Strong customer service skills.
o Prior sales experience preferred but not required.
o HVAC experience is a plus, but not a must.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Forklift experience preferred and will be required to pass forklift safety certification upon hire.
o Must be able to lift 80 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
o Must be knowledgeable and comfortable with Microsoft Office with willingness and ability to learn other computer software
