Inside Sales Representative, Sr. is responsible for an assigned territory or portfolio of customers to target for remote sales development calls. Coordinates with field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities. Being an Inside Sales Representative, Sr. reaches out to customers to promote new and existing products and services, offer special discounts and promotions, or provide essential account management services. Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Additionally, Inside Sales Representative, Sr. develops connections with customers and may conduct field visits. May participate in sales efforts as part of a larger team. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Inside Sales Representative, Sr. work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30, alternating Saturdays 8:00 to noon
This is a hybrid Inside/Outside Sales Representatives position with a majority of the time spent inside our branch. Customers are coming into our location to purchase product, making it best for our sales people to be inside supporting the staff with their orders. There are occasional visits to customers job sites or places of business. Growing business with current customers is achieved through acquiring and using knowledge of our products in areas of product benefits and features application, warranties, trouble shooting, competitive comparisons, applicable promotional programs and any unusual terms and conditions of manufacturers. This position requires you to operate with high ethical standards retaining both our company and customers confidential information. While settling any customer complaints when possible, communicate unsatisfied complaint to management then help a mutually satisfactory settlement.
Requirements:
· Maintain a sales territory serving a predetermined list of accounts. To service means to sell, quote, introduce new products and promotions to observe account’s needs. In general, provide support which requires keeping records to manage territory and assist credit department with objective of highest possible profit
· Establish territory and account goals for sales and profits in conjunction with sales and branch manager. Break out in monthly targets and measure the progress.
· Provide a weekly call planner. This is to be used as a tool to set specific objectives, measure results and provide means of effective communication of market conditions, needs or trends.
· Commit to improving personal selling skills while presenting a positive image through attitude, appearance, pleasant personality, prompt work habits and genuine interest in customers’ needs
Qualifications:
· At least 2-years’ experience in outside sales
· Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
· Excellent customer service skills
· Able to undergo a drug screening test
· Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location
