Inside Technical Sales sells technical services, products, and systems. Develops relationships with current customers and identifies potential new customers through visits and calls. Being a Inside Technical Sales creates and conducts technical presentations and demos that present current and future products to potential customers. Utilizes technical acumen to understand and gather customer requirements and to prepare specifications and generate quotes. Additionally, Inside Technical Sales builds customer confidence by addressing all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. Partners with internal technical and marketing teams to offer suggestions for product enhancements and to share insights from customers. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related technical or scientific discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Inside Technical Sales occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Inside Sales Team - Sales Coordinator

    The Sales Coordinator for GFS will support the Inside Sales Team Manager and Global Sales Teams along with the Global Sales Operation Manager.

    Responsibilities and Objectives:

    • Use Salesforce to track opportunities and manage customer relationships.
    • Gather information about potential customers, competitors, and other market factors.
    • Work closely with the customers and teams at GFS and RMA globally.
    • Support the sales team to help increase sales.
    • Create quotes and other sales support documents for the sales team.
    • Communicate effectively to find solutions and to ensure smooth coordination between global teams.
    • Learn and understand vehicle specifications, modifications, customer information, and internal order-to-delivery processes.
    • Coordinate customer transactions with management, sales administration, RMA regional modification centers, and the RMA regional centers of excellence (Finance, HR, Purchasing, and Logistics) with locations in the Americas, Europe, Middle East & Africa, and Asia Pacific.

    Background and Experience:

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in any field.
    • Experience in sales or sales operations.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Candidate must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be a team player, be proactive, be a problem solver, and be able to produce work output on time.

    Position Location:

    • This position is based in our Southfield, Michigan office.
    • This position requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with remote work on the remaining weekdays. Occasional in-office presence on remote-working days is required as requested.
    • This position requires occasional travel to regional offices, trade shows, customer visits, and the RMA Group head office in Thailand (as required).
