Builders Building Supply is a new building supply located in Newton, Alabama. Our mission is to provide builders of the Wiregrass area with products and services they need to complete their jobs in a timely manner at a competitive price. We supply lumber, siding millwork flooring, plumbing, electrical, hvac, and much more and are growing our product categories every day. This position is a role for someone with sales experience who is interested in providing a positive shopping experience to all of our valued customers. Pay is based on industry experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develops relationships with potential customers through in person and phone interaction, ensures the accurate completion of quotes and orders. Provides product knowledge and trade insight into all aspects of the customers project.
• Prepares and presents accurate sales proposals and quotes to prospective or current customers
• Interacts with customers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Provides accurate information to customers regarding proper materials and jobsite pricing.
• Coordinates deliveries and credit pick-ups in a timely manner
• Represents the company in a professional manner daily and at all business related functions.
• Diligently manages customer files and provides all necessary follow up to achieve 100% customer satisfaction on every project.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 yrs experience in sales, focused in the building material industry
• Knowledge of building materials and their applications.
• Blueprint reading and ability to perform material take offs is preferred
• Motivated and service driven while interacting with customers
• Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of computer usage and familiarity with word & excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
