Inside Technical Sales sells technical services, products, and systems. Develops relationships with current customers and identifies potential new customers through visits and calls. Being a Inside Technical Sales creates and conducts technical presentations and demos that present current and future products to potential customers. Utilizes technical acumen to understand and gather customer requirements and to prepare specifications and generate quotes. Additionally, Inside Technical Sales builds customer confidence by addressing all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. Partners with internal technical and marketing teams to offer suggestions for product enhancements and to share insights from customers. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related technical or scientific discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Inside Technical Sales occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Take and making technical calls from existing and new customer base. Help customers to determine the most effective application for their needs. We are looking for an experienced technical Inside salesperson selling pneumatic, safety, vision, electromechanical, motion and industrial controls. You would be supporting the outside sales force to help effectively serve the customer. • Develop and maintain great rapport with customers, suppliers and co-workers • Provide support to customers and co-workers with product selection and performance to ensure the customers’ needs are met, using supplier resources when necessary • Answer incoming phone calls and emails regarding product selection, pricing, lead time, and order status • Follow-up on leads & quotes to further the sales process • Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries, quality, and lead times with manufacturers. • Update customer & contact information in the ERP & CRM Systems • Troubleshoot issues with orders and products • Follow up on orders and provide updates to the customer • Contact suppliers for pricing & availability on Items and check status on orders • Set up new customers
