Inside Technical Sales sells technical services, products, and systems. Develops relationships with current customers and identifies potential new customers through visits and calls. Being a Inside Technical Sales creates and conducts technical presentations and demos that present current and future products to potential customers. Utilizes technical acumen to understand and gather customer requirements and to prepare specifications and generate quotes. Additionally, Inside Technical Sales builds customer confidence by addressing all technical objections/concerns from prospective customers throughout the sales cycle. Partners with internal technical and marketing teams to offer suggestions for product enhancements and to share insights from customers. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related technical or scientific discipline. Typically reports to a manager. The Inside Technical Sales occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job description

    · Utilize sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to obtain business objectives and goals.

    • Enter existing client base and increase revenue.
    • Meet minimum standards for calls, quotes and sales quotas.
    • Develop sales plan to build personal book of business.

    · Connect with target prospects via phone and email

    · Meet target Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for calls, emails and total connections

    · Qualify business opportunities for sophisticated Life Sciences companies

    · Schedule meetings with prospects and companies that fit a target profile

    · Enter notes in Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM), complete sales prep forms, and execute meeting logistics

    Desired Skills and Experience

    · Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences or other related field OR at least 2 years of telephone, B2B sales experience.

    · Knowledge and competence in the major elements of inside sales including cold calling, business development, customer qualification, and customer acquisition.

    · Superior sales planning and business development skills.

    · Excellent written/verbal communication

    · Strong computer skills to include proficiency in all Microsoft programs

    · Self-motivated with superior problem solving and negotiation skills.

    · Effectively prioritize sales efforts and activities.

    · Excellent organization and time management skills are essential
