    Position Overview

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inside Technical Sales Representative / Application Engineer. This role is integral to supporting both our distributors and customers by providing expert technical guidance, support, and sales assistance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide advanced product knowledge and technical support to Versa distributors and customers.
    • Train and support inside sales personnel and contribute to the ongoing education of the Versa team.
    • Assist regional sales managers in the field and support sales initiatives.
    • Manage complex sales systems and policies, including order entry, RMA processing, and customer complaint resolution.
    • Demonstrate a strong understanding of competitive products and effectively convert customers to Versa valves.
    • Interface successfully with various departments to ensure cohesive operations.
    • Travel to distributor and customer locations (approximately 4-5 weeks per year, including potential international travel) to educate, sell, and present products and policies.
    • Understand and manage sales reporting.
    • Negotiate with distributors to manage end-of-month sales processes.
    • Expertise in using HubSpot CRM and other sales management tools.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Preferred knowledge in fluid power and pneumatics.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Comfortable with CRM and ERP software.

    Abilities Required

    • Demonstrated ability to utilize a consultative sales approach.
    • Strong prospecting skills and the ability to follow up on leads diligently.
    • Excellent qualification skills for identifying and closing sales opportunities.
    • High level of written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document and manage technical specifications and contracts.
    • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
    • Keen attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $49,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
