Currently we are looking to add to our inside sales team. The Technical Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling company products or services through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas. The Technical Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communications skills. This individual will work to provide ongoing rapport with existing customers and develop sales leads from website inquiries, incoming phone calls and the initiation of prospect calls.
The representative will also take part in in-house promotional events as well as trade shows.

POSITION ACTIVITIES:
1. Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail to cross-sell and up-sell.
2. Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
3. Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
4. Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
5. Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.
6. Collaborate with VP Sales & Marketing determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
7. Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Outside Sales where appropriate.
8. Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.
9. Ensure follow-up with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, and so on.
10. Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients.
11. Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
12. Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
13. Coordinate customer training as necessary.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. At least six months direct sales experience
3. Technical Background in Electronics or Electricity (preferred)

Full-time employment. Salary starting at $40,000/year DOE
