Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Job Summary:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary focus will be to service the existing business, operationally and financially, while maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.- Assist Engineering Department with light maintenance, painting and pressure washing.
- Responsible for emergency maintenance service as scheduled
- Maintenance to include changing lights bulbs, light plumbing, etc.
- Complete work assignments in a timely manner
- Trash pickup outside of building and parking lot
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment on property, if assigned
- Use and maintain equipment properly
- Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned
- Ability to work without normal supervision
- Reports safety hazards as appropriate
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of (1) year commercial related experience
- Strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work assigned hours
