Installation & Maintenance Technician Director jobs in Newport News, VA
Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Excellent communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow
- Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be versatile
- Ability to pass background check and become DCJS licensed
- Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools while adhering to all the safety protocols.
- Must have applicable experience OR demonstrate very good motivation to learn.
