Installation & Maintenance Technician Director jobs in Petersburg, VA
Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Essential Functions

- Ability to work under minimal supervision and have excellent time management skills
- Follow direction of Management to perform tasks in a timely manner
- Performs maintenance of floors to include, cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing on a routinely basis.
- Expected to demonstrate proper use of chemicals and other supplies
- Respond to emergency request as needed
- Properly use cleaning equipment including strippers and buffers
- Other cleaning duties as needed.
We will be taking additional measures with the cleaning to prevent the spread of covid-19. We ask that you wear a face covering while on the job
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must be willing to go through a background check
- Must be able to reach, stretch, bend and sit for periods at a time
- Must be able to lift, carry and pull items up to 30 lbs.
