Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Description/Job Summary

    Position: Maintenance Technician 

    Shift: Monday - Thursday 7Am-7 Pm

    Salary: $24.61-30.00/ Depends on skill / qualificatiion


    Experience Requirements: Two years of experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.


    Training Required: Proven knowledge and ability in mechanical and electrical repair, plus at least two of the following: basic electronic repair, basic welding, basic hydraulic repair, basic pneumatic repair. Commitment to continue training and education to improve maintenance skills. On-the-job training.


    Basic Abilities: Good mechanical and electrical ability. Must be able to make necessary repairs on plant equipment. Good eye and hand coordination. Must write legible. Squat and lift fifty pounds. Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.


    Job Brief: Maintenance’s job duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Working with minimum supervision.
    • Working from written and oral instructions.
    • Working at the direction of the Maintenance Lead; night shifts subject to reassignment by on-duty Production Supervisor for repairs to equipment.
    • Maintaining correct procedures and following specified guidelines.
    • Generating necessary documentation.
    • Repairs, modifies, retrofits, replaces plant equipment as well as other related duties.
    • Ensuring quality and quantity of work performed.
    • Maintaining work area in a clean and orderly manner.
    • Reporting all quality problems and all deficiencies in equipment to the Maintenance Lead, Production Supervisor, and/or Plant Manager.
    • Following instructions and performing all duties as directed by any Supervisor or any Management Representative of the company.
