We are looking for individuals to take pride in serving a customer from start to end, owning the process and its outcome. With training provided we use software to provide customers with a digital floorplan of their home. Transparent pricing and line items are listed out to ensure that the customer knows what they are paying for and translates into fair and consistent pay to our subcontractors. The project manager position will work to build and grow sales opportunities through quality relationships with those in our community. Understand and develop job contracts and bids, accept payment, order products, and arrange for delivery and installation. Project managers build relationships with the client from start to end culminating in a face-to-face meeting on the day of installation as we walk through the home and ensure clarity with the customer on the intended outcome of the project.
A strong project manager will have fantastic problem-solving skills, hold a higher level of resilience, and always be prepared with a plan A, B, and C at all times. Time management is key to ensuring that each and every customer experiences an installation as if they are our only customer. Business does not happen, it is created, meaning that project managers are responsible for meeting with and creating new relationships with builders, General Contractors, and homeowners who are interested in using our services. Understanding the flooring industry and products is simple, but being aligned with our mission, vision, and values will take effort daily to ensure that we put people before profits.
With a tight team of highly driven individuals, a qualified Project manager will take ownership of errors, and encourage others to be the best version of themselves by maintaining a high level of team accountability. From the toilet scrubber to the CEO we all have a responsibility to ensure the best action and outcomes in every situation. No excuses.
There is a need to create and maintain a steady income each week. This requires an active role and investment of ideas, trial, and error, and thinking outside the box to achieve this goal as a group. Ideas are welcome, for every idea that works there are ten ideas that do not work...today but may be a better fit for a later time. Thick skin, and a drive to find what we can do, instead of stopping at what we can not do is essential to moving forward. We are looking for team members who see someone riding their bike through the mud, struggling to go two feet, who will say "come over here onto the sidewalk" and cheer as they watch that same effort put forth on the sidewalk and see how much further that effort goes.
CRM software(Retail lead management), project management software (Surge 1), Estimation software (Measure Square), and the Google suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets. etc) make up the majority of our daily processes. Experience in these systems is preferred but not required.
Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, or Ukraine is preferred but not required.
Compensation will be based on experience and will be discussed after the interview. Medical, dental, vision, Simple IRA, paid vacation, personal days, YMCA gym membership reimbursement, and more are offered after initial 90 days.
This position does require frequent travel to job sites, which are construction sites, requiring reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to stand, walk, bend, type, talk, listen, see, communicate, and lift heavy items overhead on a regular basis. Office work requires typing, talking on the phone, sales experience, sitting for long periods of time, twisting, and lifting.
Proven processes of success exist and when followed yield fantastic results. However, we are not looking for someone to simply agree with us, but instead to have the strength to have their own voice and be willing to professionally and calmly see a challenge through to the end of a conversation focusing on getting to the root "why" in the conversation.
If this is everything you have been looking for and want to push forward with a life-changing career, then please send your resume and let's talk more. We are looking for the "right" person, not just "a" person.
