Installation & Maintenance Technician Manager manages the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Manager ensures all functions are completed on time and within budget. Coordinates the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Manager provides and evaluates training for installation and maintenance technicians. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of unit/department. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an Installation & Maintenance Technician Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary: As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility to include; all manufacturing process equipment, warehouse equipment, and office area. You will be responsible for all mechanical

    and electrical repairs.


    Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

    · Troubleshooting plastic shredding, grinding, blending, extrusion, and other machines and processes.

    · Defining parts that need to be ordered after troubleshooting is complete.

    · Maintain inventories of tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.

    · Requisition tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.

    · Ability to read and understand machine drawings, building prints, electrical and plumbing schematics.

    · Develop preventative maintenance program for all equipment & facility related equipment.

    · Perform equipment installations as required and defined by Engineering.

    · Have experience in welding, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and working with process controls.

    · Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and facility.

    · Operation of forklift and scissor lift as required.

    · Strong understanding and conscious of safe work practice.

    · Self-starter who identifies priorities and makes appropriate resource trade-offs.

    · Regularly reviews deliverables, problems and performance metrics with team and key stakeholders.

    · PLC experience a benefit.

    · High School diploma or equivalent.

    · 2 Year Technical School certificate preferred.

    · Minimum of 5 years of Mechanical and Electrical maintenance experience.

    · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
