Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. jobs in Abilene, TX

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing a full variety of window coverings, including, shutters, blinds, shades, exterior shades and motorized products. This is a hands-on role that requires heavy lifting, moderate experience with power tools and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Install a full variety of window covering products and demonstrate to clients
- Drivers License with clean driving record - ability to drive/operate cargo van
- Willingness to train on products and procedures and demostrate in timely manner
- Experience with Smart Home devises/programming a plus - but not necessary
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with installed products
- Provide on-site support for customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the installed products
- Collaborate with other installers and office team to complete installations within specified timelines
- Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs

Experience:
- Previous experience as an Installation Technician or in Carpentry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in installation work
- Familiarity with Smart Home or Motorization is preferred
- Ability to operate fork lift preferred
- Experience with in-home/in-office service, preferred

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.90 - $17.27 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
