Documents and verifies equipment problems and repairs. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be an Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. Philco Building Maintenance is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team!
We provide maintenance services for commercial businesses such as carpentry, painting, landscaping, electrical, plumbing and portering. We service 60 commercial properties throughout Contra Costa, Alameda and Solano Counties.
We work full-time, Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. Overtime work available for those you are interested. Each Technician is assigned a route that includes 5-10 properties. At these properties, the technician is in charge of inspecting and performing routine preventative maintenance on both the inside and the outside.We provide a great place to work! You'll want to show up and give it your best self everyday, we promise. We will reward you, give you a break, make sure you are covered and allow you to crush it!!!!
Qualifications:- Previous experience with various trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, concrete, etc.
- Previous experience with commercial properties a plus.
- Ability to handle physical workload; indoor and outdoors
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Requirements:
- A valid state driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUI's in last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must have own tools and vehicle (reimbursed for business mileage).
