Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. jobs in Nebraska

Installation & Other Duties:

• Develop an understanding of industry wiring installation standards and practices
• Cable placement & termination
• Configuring PCs onto the network to establish connections for remote diagnostics
• Stage & test equipment that's been delivered, do initial programming
• Interacts with client & clearly articulates any pertinent information about the systems being installed
• Help with the project installation plan & execute

Requirements:

• Security & access controls experience, wiring up control boards, replays, power distribution
• Read, interpret & understand blueprints, schematics and construction documents
• Prior knowledge of AV system installation
• Electronics systems technician experience is preferred
• Prior experience with Access Control, IP Cameras, Intercom, Creston Toolbox experience is preferred
• Prior computer configuration and basic networking skills are preferred
• Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance on personal vehicle
• Ability to drive and fly to client sites

Must be willing to submit to an extensive background check and drug screen!

• LOTS of travel: 50% - 70%
• $25-$30/hr. (would go as high as $33/hr. for someone that checks all the boxes)

Travel Bonus:

• 6 days in a row = $250
• 21 nights out of 30 days in month = $650 (on top of the $250 above)
• *If you travel 3 weeks in a row, on your 4th week, while at the site in KCMO, you will work a very light schedule (roughly 10am-2pm), but still be paid for the full 40 hours
• If the travel is 4 hours away or less, you will typically leave for a job on Sunday afternoon and get off work mid-day Fridays to drive back home

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
