Installation Technician - Abilene, TX

POSITION:

Install, program, maintain, and repair security and automation systems, smart devices, and related equipment in homes and small businesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed
• Complete prewires and trims for low-voltage systems
• Test and/or repair low-voltage system circuits, components, or wiring for proper functioning
• Mount control panels, door/window contacts, sensors, and/or cameras
• Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, positioning and terminating cables, wires, or strapping
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Obtain necessary licensing within the allotted time frame
• Ability to travel as needed

Preferred:

• Experience working with low-voltage systems
• Knowledge of up-to-date technology
• Experience with hand and power tools
