Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor jobs in Fort Lauderdale, FL
Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor supervises the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor schedules and coordinates installation support and service operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Installation & Maintenance Technician Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary focus will be to service the existing business, operationally and financially, while maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.- Assist Engineering Department with light maintenance, painting and pressure washing.
- Responsible for emergency maintenance service as scheduled
- Maintenance to include changing lights bulbs, light plumbing, etc.
- Complete work assignments in a timely manner
- Trash pickup outside of building and parking lot
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment on property, if assigned
- Use and maintain equipment properly
- Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
- Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned
- Ability to work without normal supervision
- Reports safety hazards as appropriate
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of (1) year commercial related experience
- Strong communication skills
- Must be willing to work assigned hours
