Opportunity to work as an Appliance Construction Manager with an industry leader providing appliances for new multi-family construction projects.
Work will include supervising and providing assistance in unloading delivery trucks, moving appliances to residential units, removal and disposal of all packaging materials, placing and installing appliances in the proper locations on job site. Some appliances will require the attachment of power cords, water hoses, venting, anti-tip brackets, and ice-makers. Refrigerator doors will need to be reversed for some kitchen configurations. Dryer doors may also need to be reversed. Over the range microwaves and range hoods may need to be mounted. Work completed is documented electronically each day using your smart phone. Must have experience repairing and installing appliances.

This position is for work on a construction job. Safety is essential. You will be required to know OSHA safety requirements on a construction job site. Proper attire and correct PPE must be worn on the job site per OSHA requirements:

• Short or long sleeved t shirts
• Reflector vest
• Hard hat
• Protective eye wear and ear protection
• Work boots
• Work gloves to assist with gripping large boxes
We are looking for people with strong supervisory and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively with the team to problem solve and find solutions. Your experience working with appliances is of primary importance. However, some heavy lifting will be required. You will be expected to perform manual labor. Minimum physical requirements are as follows:
• The ability to lift 25 - 50 pounds
• The ability to respond quickly to sounds
• The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to safely climb stairs while carrying 40 pounds
• The ability to work in extreme weather
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly throughout the work day.
