We are looking for a highly organized and detailed individual to join our fast-growing Locker Company. The Installation Manager oversees all aspects of the installations, manages relationships with subcontractors, and reviews installation costs and profits. Job Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of installation, including scheduling with the customer and finding appropriate sub-contractor installation teams.
- Coordinate installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting quality standards.
- Identify, select, and manage subcontractors for installation projects. Negotiate contracts, provide clear instructions, and ensure subcontractors adhere to company standards and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain installation schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections of installation work to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and customer expectations.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process, implementing practical solutions to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the installation phase, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
- Maintain accurate records of installation projects, including contracts, permits, invoices, and other relevant documentation.
- Lead and motivate installation teams, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
- Ensure that all installation activities comply with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness and adherence among installation teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in the installation process, implement best practices, and drive innovation to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Monitor department PNL (profit and loss) to look for opportunities to improve profitability.
Job Requirements
- BA/BS Degree in Business or Construction Management or related, preferred.
- Knowledge of carpentry field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant job experience.
- Millwork experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must take the initiative to learn about our products.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly in construction or installation projects.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction/installation industry.
- Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office suite, and ERP systems.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
