  • Duties

    • Overall management and direction of the Directorate, Morale Welfare and Recreation (DMR) Support Division at Fort Hunter Ligget and Camp Parks.
    • Provides support, policies and guidance to ensure attainment of the established objectives of the division.
    • Directs, develops, and administers plans and procedures; and implements regulations to ensure functions are carried out in accordance with governing laws, policies, regulations and professional standards of service.
    • Provides leadership and supervision and communicates mission and organization goals to subordinates. Applies knowledge of programming, planning, and budgeting and long-range MWR.
    • Directs and develops finance and accounting operations. Maintains accounts showing status of installation allotments, assets, and liabilities. Establishes current and long-range program/services considering user desires.
    • Reviews and evaluates progress of program plans to determine whether overall objectives are being accomplished economically with reference to budget and manpower. Analyzes statistical data and budget reports.
    • Observes each subordinate activity to evaluate the effectiveness of leadership and operation. Meets with managers, coordinates the implantation, and approves plans to meet the garrison objectives.
    • Serves on a variety of activity councils to keep informed of operations and/or to coordinate programs and requirements. Serves as the garrison focal point for DFMWR Support Management policies and practices.

    • Shift will generally be Monday-Friday, however, will be required to work occasional nights and weekends when mission requires.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.
    • Work experience directing one or more DMWR Support Management programs for a garrison, or similar civilian community, for at least one year.
    Highly Preferred Criteria: All answers to the Highly Preferred Criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit.
    • 3 years of work experience within Army MWR Programs.
    • 2 years work experience supervising a team.
    • Possess a bachelors's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Managment, or similar field.
    Applicants meeting the qualifications for the Highly Preferred criteria may be referred FIRST to the selecting officials.
