Installation Manager jobs in Portsmouth, NH

• Manages all aspects of prep, installation and crew on job sites.
• Physically leads the installation while supervising other crew members.
• Prepares for the day and ensures all tools and supplies make it to the job site.
• Solves minor problems throughout the installation, such as finding roots or rocks in the ground, needing additional supplies, repairing drip irrigation if damaged during digging, etc.
• Ensures completion of the job and clean up to the highest standard.
• Demonstrates leadership and team management techniques with regard to crew morale.
• Must have valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be comfortable and experienced driving an excavator, 1-ton dump truck and enclosed 16-foot landscape trailer.
• Requires 3 years of paid fine garden/landscape experience, strong knowledge of plant names and needs, and 2 years managing employees with clear management knowledge and commitment to leading by example.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, 80 pounds occasionally, work in diverse weather conditions, and follow OSHA safety guidelines.
• Hardscape experience and/or landscape lighting experience a plus.
• Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, no weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 per hour
