Director of Technical Operations (RLDTO001)

ReLogic Research, Inc. is seeking a self-starting, highly motivated, experienced (15 years) team member with an engineering background and demonstrated technical and programmatic leadership experience for a full-time position at ReLogic.  ReLogic’s central focus is to continually promote a culture that stimulates personal, professional, and intellectual growth, while developing elegant solutions to tough problems. We encourage teammates to be self-governing based on high standards of professionalism and judgement.  This Director of Technical Operations role will be in direct support of ReLogic’s efforts to solve priority problems highly aligned with our national defense strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

• Interact with technical managers, subject matter experts, and business unit leads to maintain a record of technical tasking within the organization
• Interact with team members to update progress on technical tasks, streamline operations, and resolve resource conflicts
• Interact with business operations team members and technical mangers to evaluate program budgets and hours allocations
• Interact with business operations and technical mangers to maintain a record of contract deliverables
• Interact with team members to identify and report unfunded customer requests and organic business development opportunities
• Monitor progress on implementation of short and long-term business strategies are the direction of the C-suite
• Report directly to the C-suite on weekly basis on technical operations (written and verbal)
• Provide input to the C-suite on organization improvements and business strategy
• Lead the career development and performance evaluation processes in accordance with ReLogic’s established business practices
• A secondary responsibility will be technical leadership of ReLogic’s growing services BU; this will initially only require 10% time

Requirements & Desired Skills

• Active Secret security clearance or ability to receive and maintain clearance
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
• 15 years experience in relevant industry experience
• Experience leading multiple projects and engineering teams in support of DoD contracts
• Experience with hypersonic highly desired
• Experience with technical staffing and personnel evaluation highly desired

This is full-time salaried position with full benefits offered. Approximately 10% of travel is expected.
