We are seeking Per Diem Kitchen Assistants for our growing organization!
In this role, you will support Phase 1 Operations in carrying out tasks related to controlled dietary environment for the execution of clinical studies. Works under regular supervision in executing Clinical Study dietary requirements under the guidance of Kitchen Assistant II and Clinical Research Coordinator for assigned studies.
Minimum high school diploma and 6 months to 2 years relevant work experience in food service / food preparation environment, preferably in health related environment. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Able to read and understand study instructions, dietary and meal preparation instructions, protocols and procedures in following dietary restrictions as they apply to the conduct of clinical research. Strong organizational skills. Discretion in maintaining subject confidentiality when provided with personal information. Ability to be in close personal physical contact with clinical study participants for long periods of time during work hours, generally standing, and work with a variety of meal preparation and serving requirements as well as handle varied sizes and weights of containers. Good manual dexterity in tight study environment spaces. Ability to convey courtesy and empathy for subjects/patients. Able to work assigned schedule, as determined by clinical study demands and TKL business needs and priorities. Competency with computers for data entry and basic electronic maintenance of records. These are per diem positions based primarily in our Fair Lawn, NJ facility. Ideal hours are 3:30pm-9:30pm week days and weekends to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and to handle light kitchen cleaning.Clear All
