Institutional Research Director directs and oversees institutional research and studies for a university/college. Designs and leads institutional research studies evaluating the effectiveness of the organization's programs and policies. Being an Institutional Research Director manages data collection and analysis and oversees the formulation of research reports. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Institutional Research Director typically reports to a head of a department. The Institutional Research Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Institutional Research Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Director of Quality

  • Regal Research is looking to fill a high-level Quality & Reliability management position in order to accommodate our continued growth and expansion. This position will have full responsibilities over the Quality & Reliability department and report to the President. Key experience and performance thresholds we are seeking in an ideal candidate include:

    • 5 Years in contract manufacturing Executive Quality Management preferred, or 10 Years in manufacturing and/or quality inspection management level experience in contract manufacturing of electromechanical products.
    • BS degree or higher preferred
    • Experience implementing & rolling out electronic (paperless) Quality ERP module, including NCMRs and QMS software such as One Factory
    • Experience with complex sheet metal, machined parts, and complete electromechanical product assemblies for the medical, semiconductor, space/aerospace, defense, and/or similar markets
    • Ability to work within a team environment and integrate with the Regal Research culture while driving the quality vision of the Board of Directors
    • Experience with professional customer interface regarding high level QMS and product quality issues
    • Ability to resolve quality issues by taking a mentoring and developmental approach - continuous improvement has been the backbone of Regal Research and continuing that mindset is imperative
    • Ability to work at 3 closely located Plano, TX manufacturing facilities (less than 2 miles apart)
    • Ability to lead and continue the development of a team of inspectors and quality support personnel
    • Experience with quality related Cap Ex decision making
    • Experience with calibration & training management
    • FDA, UL, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, & ITAR certification management expertise
    • Proficient in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Power Point as well as working within customer portals
    • Work side by side with executive management team
